Each person has a series of ideas and personal convictions that make up his general vision of life. Such ideas and convictions are the foundation of a mindset. It could be said that the mentality of each individual is the way to understand their existence.
Mentality, both individual and collective, depends on cultural tradition, education received within the family and the social and historical circumstances of each era. In some cases, the form of think of an individual may be related to his genetic inheritance.
Capitalist mentality
The vital approach of some people is governed by a capitalist vision. If they invest, they seek the highest possible profit. Normally they do not spend everything they have because they give importance to saving and investing. They consider that it is all about buying and selling and they try to buy low and sell high. In short, the projects they carry out are valued according to a criterion of cost effectiveness.
Conservative mindset
There are people who cling to traditional values to give meaning to their lives. Those with a conservative mindset place a special value on family, religion, discipline and the traditions of his ancestors.
Precisely, they are conservative because they want to maintain and preserve traditions in the face of new developments that are emerging (the conservative individual usually adopts an attitude contrary to social changes and new trends).
Winning and losing perspective
The winner thinks and acts with one goal: to be the best and outperform his competitors. The loser feels defeated beforehand and perceives himself as a victim. Both of them start from a previous mental state that determines the success or failure of their projects.
The entrepreneurial vision
The entrepreneur he has unique mental schemes. He is someone determined and with safety in himself, he does not give up easily and is willing to sacrifice to achieve his goals. Generally the entrepreneur is creative, possesses qualities for the leadership, is not afraid of failure, learns from mistakes, takes risks and sees opportunities where others see problems.
The topics of the mentality of each town
Each town has certain characteristics of its own and that is why we speak of an Argentine, Spanish or British mentality.
According to popular clichés, Argentines are passionate, meat lovers, carefree, arrogant, and soccer fans. Spaniards are cheerful, envious, expressive, nap-loving, and creative. The British are punctual, pragmatic, competitive, fond of sports betting and with good manners.
