Cross Reference Example

The cross reference It is a sign or note that sends you or refers you to another chapter, section or paragraph of the text in which you are working.
The signs used to mark cross references can be:
- The letter "V" with which it is understood see
- The letters “Cfr” that are understood as confront and
- The word "see" that is applied directly.
In reality, there are no fixed rules for making references, but signs are usually found at the beginning or end of the text, in which they clarify what each one is for.
On the internet there are also cross references, and they are presented with a "hyperlink" or text underlined With which, when you click on it, it directs you to an explanation or another page that explains in detail the subject that is being studied.
Cross reference example:
In a biology text, it reads:
“… Water is one of the essential elements for life; It is made up of a hydrogen atom (V1) and two oxygen atoms (V2), which when mixed produce water.
But it is not the only compound that water has, since various compounds such as salts and minerals (V3) that are the means required by many organisms to maintain themselves with life.
Water is also considered in chemistry (V4) as the universal solvent par excellence... "

Another example:
A specific topic is discussed on an internet page and in this example the crossed lines They are "Hyperlinks".:
Prostate cancer.
“… Prostate cancer is a disease that occurs in men of approximately 45 to 90 years of age.
There is a high propensity in black people, and it is found more often in people with a number of testosterone elevated and presenting baldness.
