Simple Subject Example

The subject is the person, entity or thing that is spoken of in a sentence and who carries out the action of the verb. It is very easy to find the subject within a sentence because it is that part of the sentence that answers the question Who?
For example:
Alvaro it's a good friend.
Who is a great friend?
Alvaro, Thus, Alvaro is he subject of prayer.

There are two types of subject: the simple subject and the compound subject.

The simple subject is one that only has a single nucleus. Answer the question Who?

Pedro lives in a yellow house.
Who lives in a yellow house?
Subject: Peter
Core of subject: Peter (Simple subject)

The composite subject has two or more nuclei and answers the question Who?

Luis and Mario are friends.
Who are friends?
Subject: Luis and Mario
Nuclei of subject: Luis Mario (Composite subject)
Already clarified the difference between simple subject and composed, it is important to mention that the place occupied by the subject in prayer does not alter its nature of simple or compound; usually we place the

subject at the beginning of the sentence, but actually the subject it can be placed anywhere in the sentence.

Juan, therefore Juan is the subject even though he is placed in the middle of the sentence.
