The evil is the term from which we designate the spontaneous inclination that someone shows when it comes to causing harm to other individuals or living beings.
Inclination that a person has towards evil
Meanwhile, by evil refers to the total absence of good and goodness that exists in a person or being.
A negative issue to deviate from
Since the beginning of humanity, evil has been seen as a reality from which we must move away because it does not bring anything positive but rather everything opposite.
So, it is from this conception that it has derived that practically all the religions that exist in the world propose to their faithful that they move away from evil or in any of the ways that it can adopt, and in return they promote that they approach the good to fight it definitively, in some way they take the path of good as an effective antidote against evil and evil.
A natural and innate predisposition, or an event triggers it
It should be noted that the aforementioned tendency to practice evil to harm others may be an inherent characteristic of the individual, that is, it is part of their
personality and it will emerge in every behavior and action that it unfolds, or failing that, it can be triggered by a certain situation that ends up generating in a person an act clothed with evil, but clearly there is no constant tendency to exercise evil, a specific event triggers is behavior disruptive. The individual who presents evil will be characterized especially by not having before anyone around him feelings of affection, of kindness, of affection, of empathy for the other who suffers, among others emotions positive, but on the contrary, a feeling of absolute aversion towards everything that surrounds him will prevail that will lead him precisely to cope with the coldest and most unconcerned conduct that can be had.
Action that causes harm to another
Also, to that action that per se is bad and causes harm in another we call it the term evil.
One of the synonyms that we normally use as a substitute for the concept of evil is that of perversity, which is also recurrently used when you want to account for a very great and deliberately caused evil.
The other side: goodness
The concept that directly opposes evil is that of goodness, which implies the natural tendency towards the realization of good.
The disposition of evil predisposes a person to be bad, thus the society will appreciate and call him, while the person who does good, practicing goodness and solidarity, will be designated as good.
Bad versus good
The bad and the good are concepts that therefore contradict each other and are often used with the mission to persuade a social group regarding a person or a group that does not share their way from think or to act.
The politics use this a lot strategy of demonizing and labeling a political leader as bad so that the electorate fear him, and thus take away votes or intentionality from them.
In fiction it is also extremely common to appreciate the confrontation between good and bad.
In traditional soap operas there will always be a leading character associated with goodness, and another on the contrary to evil, who will make his life impossible, and that each action that I deploy will have as a mission to put obstacles and make it difficult for the good protagonist to achieve her happiness.
Normally, the public empathizes with the good and not with the bad, both in real life and in the world of fiction, whom He even believes them evil personified and they tend to attack him off screen if they come across him in life outside of the story fictional.
In comics comics and superhero movies the presence of characters who are dedicated to creating evil is also very marked, and others who seek to combat them at any cost, obviously practicing good, developing good actions that disrupt the bad actions that sow bad.
An emblematic example of this type of story is the historical confrontation between the superhero Batman and the villain Joker.
