India is one of the most important countries in the world in terms of both its quantity of population (more than a billion people who make it the second most populous country after China), to its extensive territory and its dynamic and growing economy. India is politically organized under the democratic system and is therefore the democracy biggest in the world. Located in Southeast Asia, India has the beautiful city of New Delhi as its capital, although the most populated and dynamic city is the city of Mumbai.

In this sense, both his religion and his philosophy, his art are the result of historical phenomena such as the fabulous Grupta dynasty, the Sultanate of Delhi and the Mughal Empire among others. In addition, India has always fascinated the West for its fantastic textiles, silks and food products, making such a situation that the contact between both worlds has always been close.
With regard to its territory, India shares borders with countries such as Pakistan, China, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Burma, in addition to being almost completely surrounded by the Indian Ocean. Administratively, India has 28 states and nearby territories that are not united in a borderline but are islands or possessions. North of its territory, India is home of the impressive Himalayas where Everest is located, the Mountain highest in the world.
Although today India is a country that has gigantic and very modern metropolises, a large part of the population is submerged in the poverty and in the illiteracy, becoming one of the countries with the highest social debt in the world. However, cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Bangalore are resorts where the Indian economy is growing by leaps and bounds.
