Computers have the advantage of being able to reproduce any Format from music digital.
Digital music is a modern invention that allows you to listen to music without losing quality no matter what happens to the medium on which it is recorded. Of course, if the media breaks, the music will no longer play. However, if part of the medium could be recovered, the digital music would sound perfect or as originally recorded. This is the foundation of digital music and it is also the reason that it has been so successful.
The music itself are frequencies produced by well handled instruments, these waves stimulate in people a sensation auditory and spiritual. The waves are converted by a code already defined in ones and zeros. Specifically in thousands and thousands of ones and zeros per second. A basic quantity of ones and zeros of 44,100 is established, this quantity of ones and zeros is what a second of music contains. This digital music standard is called PCM (Pulse Code Modulation), pulse modulation code since what we do is convert the music into pulses of one and zero. The pulses go with a
logic to represent sound waves. When the laser reads the 1's and 0's on a record, it demodulates, so to speak, the music back into waves. These go through an amplifier to the speaker and go to our ears.
Digital audio tracks cannot be recorded on a DVD (Digital Versatil Disk) as on CDs. However we can store thousands of MP3 or compressed music titles.
There are some voices that say that vinyl records (analog sound) sound better than CDs (digital sound), but that statement is only true when the vinyl is fine. If the vinyl suffers some small deterioration, we must say goodbye to the quality of the music.
The music that is listened to today on computers and mobile devices, whether illegally or legally downloaded from InternetAlthough it is digital, it is in a compression format that reduces its frequencies and therefore lowers the listening quality of that music. The incentive is the fact that a single 700 MB CD can store an entire collection of discs by an author, assuming it is an author with an production of discs quite wide.
The term digital music also refers to music created with already digital media and one of the most characteristic instruments of this new generation is the electric organ.
