The concept of tenacity is used to name those attitudes and ways of acting that are characterized by resorting to firmness and constancy in pursuit of obtaining a final result. Tenacity is closely linked to intelligence since those considered tenacious must know how to proceed in each specific situation. But at the same time, tenacity is related to strength of spirit because it is constancy and permanent dedication to a goal that makes a person be considered tenacious. In short, tenacity implies both intelligence and perseverance.
Tenacity is a typical characteristic of the human being since he is capable of consciously deciding what he wants and planning a type of approach around that goal. attitude that gives you the best results. However, an animal can also be tenacious, for example when hunting and resort to the best strategy to make your activity a fruitful activity. Tenacity is therefore a virtue that can be found both in humans and in many animal species.
In the case of humans, tenacity is especially observable in some individuals who have to resolve issues of great importance. In this sense, the vast majority of the heroes and heroes of each nation are described as tenacious since they stood out in their time for being able to achieve the most profitable results from the best and most smart way.
The term toughness can also be used to refer to issues relating to the physical. In such a case, the toughness of a matter occurs when it is stretched to a point greater than the state of repose, thus becoming much more tenacious, firm and tight than in the previous state. The toughness of the material is especially visible in flexible elements such as fabrics.
