The word led is a english acronym which abbreviates the following denomination in English: Light-Emitting Diode, and in Spanish it refers: diodetransmitter of light.

In the present the led presents a super extended use as indicator in various devices and also in the field of lighting of spaces and in this, without a doubt, the key benefits that it proposes have had a lot to do with it, such as: save of Energy, its long duration, its design compact and fast ignition.

Making a bit of history, the first led was developed when the year was running 1927 and it would be the Russian scientist Oleg Vladimirovich Losev, who would achieve it, although, until the sixties it would not be used again and only from this decade would it begin to spread and spread phenomenally.

Firstly the production was limited to the colors red, yellow and green, it proposed a very low intensity of light and materialized in appliances and remote controls to indicate the on and off function.
