The Danish company Lego has been in the toy industry since 1932 and its most internationally recognized product is the Lego brick, a piece of plastic that allows children to kids can form all kinds of constructions. As for the word lego, it is an abbreviation of the language Danish, specifically from "leg godt", which could be translated as playing well.
At present Lego is one of the main multinational toy companies, but in its origins it was a humble workshop of carpentry from the Danish town of Billund.
The key to success
The bricks or small plastic bricks have three fundamental characteristics:

The Lego company is not without its criticism
It has been censored for introducing instruction notebooks, an element that can limit children's creativity.
Some sectors have criticized the sexism company, as some of the games prioritize male characters.
Traditional bricks are made from plastic, a polymer made with petrochemical substances. Thus, the production chain has negative effects on carbon emissions. This circumstance has caused the reaction of those responsible for Lego and alternative materials are currently being sought with the least impact possible about the environment.
