The most widespread use attributed to it in our language to the concept of orbital is associated with everything that has to do with the orbit.
At the behest of the field of astronomy, the orbit, consists of the trajectory that it is up to one body to travel around another, but with a greater mass and which is subjected to the action of gravity.
The orbit is a subject that has been addressed in detail by various scientists and astronomers throughout the history and obviously the result brought many interesting news that allowed to know information unknown.
One of the pioneers has been Johannes Kepler in the 17th century. He used mathematical calculations to study the orbit and brought important news to the field such as: that the orbits of the planets are oval and that the sun is not the center of them but only one of their epicenters.
Some time later another scientist joined, Isaac Newton, who contributed notable advances in the study of orbits, especially the importance of gravity in their trajectory.
On the other hand, in the field of anatomy we find the use of this term to refer to a type of bone, the orbital bone, which is part of the human body, more precisely is located in the eyes and has the mission of shaping the orbit of the eyes. In other words, the ocular orbits are cavities that are located on both sides of people's faces and house the eyeballs.
In the field of physical There is also a use of this concept to name, designate, that trajectory that a particle it is able to travel when it is subjected to an electromagnetic field.
But to the uses of the term in specific fields we must add some others that occur mainly in the languagecolloquial, such is the case of be in orbit, which is used to show that someone has correct information on a topic or case; or put into orbit which is used to indicate that a satelite has been launched into space.
