If we think of planet Earth it is possible to imagine a dividing line in the center. That line is the equator and going around the planet is a little over 40,000 km.
Tropical regions have a weather with very precise characteristics: very hot throughout the year, high humidity and it also rains almost every day. The equator is a central strip located between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. This zone is a circumference that crosses countries of Africa, America, Asia and Oceania.
The tropical forest is the consequence of geographic location and climate. The nature that is formed in this area is of the jungle type. It is a habitat of great variety and richness, both in animals and in plants. The forest mass of tropical forests is very lush and lush. One of the peculiarities of this ecosystem it is the great number of insects, amphibians, reptiles and birds.
Tropical forests are especially known for their beauty and uniqueness, which is why naturalists and specialists in biology study their influence: on the climate, the preservation of the
environment, the richness of the soil, the Balance between species, etc.The nature of these forests has several threats. The main one is deforestation, since the timber industry is cutting down a significant part of this type of forest. As a consequence, carbon dioxide is released which, in turn, causes the greenhouse effect: increased temperature of the Earth and the consequent thaw.
It is an area with low population density, since it is not easy to live in this environment: diseases such as malaria, dangerous species, poor communications, etc. An important part of the inhabitants is formed by the indigenous peoples. Their culture is disappearing due to the threat of a number of business interests. For this reason, there are groups that collaborate with the indigenous people, who have a harmonious relationship with the tropical forests. They know their plants and from them they obtain natural remedies. Hunting is limited to survival and they have a attitude respectful of the natural environment, since it supplies them and they have to maintain and take care of it. When economic interests act in tropical forests, they do not regain their natural state for about a hundred years.
The tropical forest has a strategic value in relation to the sustainability of the planet. There are groups that protect it and fight for its maintenance. Others try to exploit resources.
