The most widespread use that we attribute to the word inside is to designate what is arranged, located inside a place or something, for example in the inside the house I have your binder or inside the car I left the jacket.
But there are also so many other uses of this word in different contexts that are related to this question of what is found inside a space or place.
One of those other uses, which is very popular by the way, is to use this word to refer to that part of a country that is not located in its capital.
For example, in Argentina, it is very widespread that to those localities, provinces or any other type of division administrative that it is not in the limits of its capital of Buenos Aires it is denominated like interior. My cousin came from the interior this weekend so we will take the opportunity to go to theater.
It should even be noted that around this differentiation between the country's capital and the interior there have been controversies and historical disputes that continue to this day. Today, and of course, they have contributed to marking a division among Argentines themselves regarding whether they live or were born in the capital of the country or in the so-called interior of the
nation. On the other hand, and at the request of the nation that is being spoken or discussed, the interior word is usually used directly opposed to everything that implies something foreign or foreign to it.
Also, when a house or room does not have a view to the outside, it is called interior. Generally to the type of houses with these features, that is, they do not have an exit to the outside, they are relegated at the time of purchase or rental as a consequence that they turn out to be very dark.
And in speech colloquial In some Spanish-speaking places, the word is used to refer to male or female underwear, among other items: underpants, boxer shorts, bodice and panties.
