The word stupefied is a qualifying adjective that we humans regularly use when we want to realize that we have been stunned, surprised, stunned and unable to react by the event of a certain situation by other surprising.
The receipt of news that was not expected, such as the death sudden death from a loved one, the reception of a telegram from dismissal from work without even having imagined the situation, are some examples of situations that leave someone dumbfounded.
