A spring is a flow of water that comes out of the earth. If we pay attention to its etymology, this word comes from Latin, specifically from manans, which means that it flows, sprouts or flows.
The springs of water flow from the mountain areas where the water of rain it filters over the earth and ends up producing the so-called water eyes, which are the holes through which the water that makes up the spring comes out. Sometimes the waters inside the rocks come into contact with igneous rocks and this produces a spring with hot springs. Spring waters can also come from a aquifer Underground.
Spring water for consumption
When the water from a spring reaches a station, a transformation process begins. First, the largest particles are removed through a sand filter. In a next phase, the water passes to a carbon filter, where the chlorine is removed by an absorption method to make the water more pure. Subsequently, an ultraviolet light process is activated that disinfects the water of any possible microorganism or germ.
Also, the mineral salts of the water are measured
After a reverse osmosis process, the minerals are reduced. Finally, ozone totally disinfects the water so that it can be drunk without any risk to health. Once purified and packaged, it is now possible to commercialization.
In general, mineral waters that come from springs have greater quality and purity. However, it must be taken into account that water mineral spring does not have a constant mineral composition and for this reason reason a specific treatment process is necessary. Besides of consumption For humans, some spring waters have beneficial health properties, as they help regulate cholesterol, prevent the formation of kidney stones and promote cardiovascular health.
Appreciating the idea as a metaphor
Nature as a whole is an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Thus, the force from the wind, the sun's rays, the sea waves or the Energy of the earth are realities that allow the creation of metaphors of all kinds. This is what happens with the concept of a spring.
If we take into account that a spring provides water and water is the fundamental substance for life, the spring becomes a perfect image to convey suggestive ideas. Along these lines, we speak of the source of life, love, eternal youth or wisdom.
