Mezquino is an adjective that defines the attitude of a mean or hypocritical person who commits actions that can harm others without taking responsibility for his actions. A mean attitude is marked by arrogance of living very focused on herself and not looking at others with the same attitude. It is full of ego and a very inflated self.
A mean person does not have a self-esteem tall but inflated from a totally distorted image of herself. A mean person can be very believed in concrete situations, for example, in success. In that case, he can put himself in a superior role over others.

A meager salary
A salary can also be considered petty and ridiculous when the monthly amount received by the employee for job demanding is ridiculous, so much so that the employee can barely pay the rent. Abusive job offers are a clear example of petty conditions that go against one's own dignity of the worker.
