The months of the year are written with lower case. For example: On February It is our anniversary.
In English, on the other hand, the months are capitalized and that is why sometimes confusion is generated. In Spanish they are written with a lower case.
There are two cases in which months must be capitalized, as an exception: when they are at the beginning of a sentence (April It is a month that has many holidays, but there are none in September) or when they are part of a proper name (The square May stay in Buenos Aires).
