Prosodic words differ from words with spelling stress in that, in a word with spelling stress, the stress is written by a tilde, which It is the one that identifies the accentuation, while in a prosodic word in the accentuation, no accent is written in the accented syllable, although that word is pronounced accented.
For example in the word Pencil, the syllable "the" It has an orthographic accent unlike the word pencil where the accent is on the syllable "EC" of Pencil, in this case the word is prosodic because when writing there is no accent, but the accent exists in the pronunciation.
