The words ending in -tad generally they are verbs whose infinitive ends in -tar and which are conjugated in the second person plural (you) of the imperative. For example: cortad, lifttad, eattad.
These verbs are used mostly in Spain, but not so much in Latin America, because in this area it is more common to use conjugated verbs in the other second person plural, you. For example: sing, count.
Also, they end in -tad some abstract nouns female. These nouns are derived from adjectives by adding the suffix -tad, which is an unusual variant of the suffix -dad. For example: basttad, loyaltad, to mytad.
