The words ending in -eza they are usually abstract nouns (that which cannot be touched) derived from adjectives. For example: beautiful (adjective) / belleza (abstract noun).
These adjectives that derive in abstract nouns must always be written with “-ez” or “-eza” (depending on the case) and not with “s”.
In addition, there are some words that do not derive from others, that is, they are primitive words and that are written with the ending -eza. For example: cabeza,cereza,cerveza.
