Difference between Subject and Noun... With examples!

Subject and Noun
A noun It is a word used to name things, places, people, animals, etc. For example: boat, friend, bird, plaza. The subject, instead, it is a syntactic structure (like the predicate) that, in a sentence, marks who performs the action. For example: The director gave the speech. (director is the subject of the sentence)
Both concepts should not be confused: the subject is usually composed of a noun (functioning as a nucleus) but it can also incorporate other structures (direct or indirect modifier) that accompany it, that is, it includes a noun and more words.
On the other hand, a noun can be located either in the subject or in the predicate, but it will only fulfill the core function in the subject of a sentence. For example: We will go to the supermarket. (Supermarket is a noun present in the subject, which functions as circumstantial)
