Prefix after- and trans-

The prefixes after- and trans- are used to indicate to the other side or via. For example: afterladar, transcarry.

Both forms are accepted and its writing is correct according to the Royal Spanish Academy. Although in general lines you can write almost all the words indistinctly with trans- or with after-, there are some that are more frequently written in only one way.
