The bisyllable words are those that are composed of two syllables. For example: runs (runs), singing (singing).
The syllable represents each phonological division within a word. In written language they are letters or sets of letters that, when read, are pronounced in a single voice emission.
Two-syllable words, depending on their stress, may be sharp (if your stressed syllable is the last one, eg. sal-liĆ³) or grave (if your stressed syllable is the second to last, eg. kiss).
