The primitive nouns are those that serve as a starting point or starting point to form word families or series of words.
These nouns they did not undergo any lexical alteration and, consequently, they are the basis of other words than derived. For example: dog is a primitive noun and from it derives the derived noundog pound.
Primitive nouns can derive into nouns and other kinds of words. For example: Water (primitive noun), aqueous (adjective derived from noun).
