The preposition "for" It is used to indicate purpose, direction, proximity, opinion, time limit, comparison, point of view and recipient. For example: I bought these veggies in order to make stew. / Go in order to the center.
The prepositions are links that relate the different elements of a sentence and are used to indicate origin, provenance, address, destination, medium, reason or possession.
Like all prepositions, "For" is invariable (that is, it has neither gender nor number).
