The preposition "fits" it is used as a synonym for "near" or "next to." For example: Ate fits the river. / The store is fits the pharmacy.
The prepositions are links that relate the different elements of a sentence and are used to indicate origin, provenance, address, destination, medium, reason or possession.
Like all prepositions, “Fits” is invariable (that is, it has neither gender nor number). At present this preposition is hardly used, but it can be found in some literary texts and should not be confused with the conjugation of the verb “caber”.
