The sayings are phrases that are used to express ideas and that, generally, have a figurative sense, that is, they convey a concept that cannot be understood by the literal meaning of words. For instance: The one who sows winds, reaps storms.
Unlike the sayings, the sayings do not always have morals, that is to say, they do not always spread a teaching. But both sayings and sayings are transmitted orally and are only understood by a community of speakers.
The sayings usually transmit popular knowledge, maxims and observations and in many cases they are extended to other regions, where sometimes a slightly different version of the original saying is made.
