The analogies by product are those that establish a relationship between a word, which refers to a product, and another word, which refers to the one who produces it or the material with which it is manufactured. For instance: The baker is to pie what he blacksmith is to horseshoe.
In this case the pastry chef is the one who produces the cake and this sentence is compared with the second, in which it is established that the blacksmith is the one who produces the horseshoe.
Analogies make comparisons between two pairs of words and are not always easy to understand. For example, to understand an analogy by product it is necessary to know the terms that refer to the agent and the object and how they are related.
