Development paragraphs
The development paragraphs are those paragraphs in which the main ideas of the subject of a text are mentioned and explained. These paragraphs are used in different types of texts, both in the academic environment and in the journalistic environment, and form the body of a text, which is after the introduction and before the conclusion.
A paragraph is a unit of a text that is made up of one or more sentences, beginning with a capital letter and ending with a new paragraph. The texts are organized in such a way that each paragraph deals with a central idea from which secondary ideas emerge.
Generally, the first sentence of each paragraph of development usually makes explicit what is the main point that will be explained or described. There are different development paragraphs:
Examples of development paragraphs
- The advertising campaign of the soft drink brand consists of three strategies: print advertising, since advertisements were included in magazines and newspapers; outdoor advertising, since posters and billboards were included in public streets and television commercials, since announcements were included in prime time.
