Use of Keys

The keys ({}) are an auxiliary spelling sign that limits words or phrases within a text. For instance: Assured {arrive / that will arrive} on time.

They are formed by two sinuous lines that trace a small point in the center. But, although curly braces are a double sign, they can be used as single depending on the context.

It is very common to confuse parenthesis, the brackets and the keys. However, each of them fulfills certain functions.
