Sample Resignation Letter In English

The letter of resignation, called in English Letter of Resignation, is a document with which we communicate our separation or resignation from a job. In it, we briefly expose the reasons why we made that decision, and whenever possible, we appreciate the opportunity to have worked and learned everything. In the resignation letter in English we can sometimes state the resignation and its reasons, leaving open the possibility of continuing at work, if they make us a better offer. At other times, our resignation will be irrevocable, and without the option of reconsideration.

Dear Mr. Daniels

Please accept this little letter as my resignation, effective from July 19th. This was a very hard decision to take, but after much consideration, I will accept a new position in another company.

I am very grateful for the rewarding employment I've had with Great Phones Mobiles.

Mrs. Katherine Smith,
Kathy's Store, Manager.

Dear Mrs. Smith:

As I informed you promptly, my health has deteriorated along the last months. This forces me to leave the work immediately, for medical treatment. For this reason I present my irrevocable resignation, from June, 26.

I appreciate the opportunity you have given me and your interest in my health. I will keep you informed of the progress of my treatment.
