The anastrophe is a Figure of speech which is used to reverse the order of two successive elements of a sentence. For instance: This song is dedicated to my friends. The logical order of this sentence would be: I dedicate this song to my friends.
The inversion of this rhetorical figure consists in placing an element in front that should come later. Two types of anastrophe can be found:
Like all rhetorical figures, anastrophe is used for aesthetic purposes to perceive objects and actions in a different way.
