The harmful effects of smoking are many, since it is proven that when smoking different substances are inhaled that damage the body, among which is the tar that destroys thousands of alveoli that the lung has and that serve to extract oxygen from the air. This causes a progressive to incurable disease that is pulmonary emphysema to develop and causes death by drowning. This has been proven in various studies, in addition to autopsies where the lungs of people who die from this condition can be seen completely black because they are covered by this substance chemistry. Smoking also inhales hydrogen cyanide, which paralyzes the villi that cover the lungs and serve to defend themselves against foreign elements, so that being unprotected, toxic agents quickly enter it, contaminating it and consequently making it sick seriously. Another substance that seriously affects these organs of smokers is carbon monoxide, which is rapidly assimilated by the blood of people who smoke, so this poisonous gas prevents the body from receiving the necessary oxygen and therefore suffers severe consequences.
