The IP address identifies our computer with the house or place where our pc is located.
The IP address is as its name suggests, an address in Internet. To be more specific, it should be noted that "IP" means "Internet Protocol" in English. The "protocol" refers to a language type machine that computers use to communicate with each other. The IP address is nothing more than an address or it can also be called a number that is assigned to the computer when it goes to the Internet. This is necessary, since if this were not the case, there would be a mess of names on the internet and it would cause chaos in traffic, causing communications that are not for us to reach us. The ID It also serves so that whoever commits crimes on the internet can be located. Normally this address is expressed in a number such that: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX. We can see that there are three points, before and after the points a value of three numbers from 0 to 9. An example of an IP address would be this: 223.255.255.255 for example. We can see that the combinations of numbers that can be made are enormous, however in Internet there are already so many devices to which you have to assign an IP address that a new
protocol (or language) to be able to assign IP addresses to more devices. When we connect to the internet, we usually do it through a network card that carries an IP address. Our supplier Internet detects our connection and assigns us a unique IP address for us.
IP addresses allow government agencies to spy on communications. Usually with the permission of a judge.
Internet providers buy ranges of IP addresses. For example: company of telephone services "X" buys from 113,000,000,000 to 115,000,000,000. If someone were in company "X", they could be assigned the IP address 113.223.345.000 for example when they connected to the Internet. This avoids duplicates. It is actually a bit more complicated than explained here since the ranges are not bought although you pay for it but the important thing is to give an idea of how the Internet works with the addresses IP.
When we connect to one Web page, the page itself is expressed in numbers but as the numbers for people are very difficult to distinguish, these numbers are translated by a domain name. For example, the definition domain abc would be 200.43.211.172.
