According to the context in which the word is used band can refer various questions.
To the wide ribbon that is carried across from one shoulder to the opposite side and that are generally placed in events or public acts, such as the inauguration of a president, affixed to the individual assuming office, or in a beauty pageant, who have been placed in the first winning positions, is designated and popularly known by the term band.
On the other hand, to the area bounded by each of the two longest sides of a sports field and the outer line which is usually the one at the beginning of the localities where the public is located is called with the name of band.
In addition, to the range of magnitudes or values between two defined limits is designated by the band term. The most common and well-known example is the modulated frequency band, which we select on our radio recorder when we want hear FM.
While, in social terms, of social organization, more precisely, the type of human social organization composed of a small number of of family nuclei or subgroups related to each other and that are organized without a very formal to meet your protection and livelihood needs.
A band can be integrated into a larger community or tribe, where they will gather in eventual ceremonies to carry out certain activities such as the hunting or war. They almost always appear or settle in unpopulated areas such as deserts or jungle tropical and almost always using scarce and very basic technology.
And also, in another of the orders in which the term of band is very extended is in the world of the music, since it is used to designate that training made from wind and percussion instruments, its structure being similar to that of orchestras and the clarinet the main instrument instead of the violin.
Although the use at this level is no longer limited to this type of training alone, but has been extended very much the same among young people and so it is that they usually refer to the word band normally to the musical groups, whether pop or rock, that follow.
