The word subjective indicates that which belongs to the subject and refers to everything related to it and to that which is in clear opposition to or relative to the external world..
Predominance of experience and the personal opinion
However, we must say that the meaning of the word that we use the most is that which refers to the mode of think or to feel that each individual has about something or someone.
No individual is the same as another, each person comes to the world in a certain context, has very unique experiences and for example, all this will delineate in that person the way of being of him, to think, to conduct themselves in life in general and their posture and action before certain events and that of course will not be the same as that of another, even if they had shared experiences together.
For this reason we stated that in the face of many appreciations that others make and that reach our ears, we must take them in principle with tweezers, as it is popularly said, because they can be loaded with the subjectivity of the one who expresses them and as long as they are not exact, true, reliable. Or directly to be on the side diametrically opposite to what we think because we just have another vision of life.
When subjectivity must be put aside ...
In certain situations and issues it is advisable that the subjective act fully, especially when it comes to giving an opinion about a joint or of a person, but in other situations that demand a conclusion or a specific analysis and without imposing feelings or emotions, the subjective is not advisable at all.
A clear example can be to dictate justice in a matter, a judge, a court, cannot let his subjectivity prevail, the emotions that are generated in him in the face of a fact, but their position must be as objective as possible, stick to what happened, the evidence, the facts and catalog them according to what stipulates the law and ready. You should not get carried away or be conditioned by personal appreciations or situations, because you would not be being equanimous or loyal with your task.
The other side: the objective
Meanwhile, the subjective term also stands as the main opposition to the concept of goal. Because on the contrary and in total opposition, objective will be everything related to the object itself and not as the subjective that refers to our particular way of seeing and thinking about things. When something really exists, far above and outside the subject that it knows, that is, without putting that personal burden so characteristic of the subjective, it is called or said to be objective.
Many times it is considered that if, for example, our work hangs over qualifying, judging and appreciating for or against a certain performance of another, the task may be carried out effectively and correctly as long as that person who is the object of the attention is not someone close in any way to our affections or hatreds, as appropriate to the case in question, because this personal issue is proven, in many situations, it can influence when it comes to having to turn for or against a certain question.
The philosophy versus subjective
The subject of the objective and the subjective has a vast analysis through Philosophy, which has analyzed the subject at length. For Philosophy, the subjective refers to the interpretations that tend to be made on any aspect of the experience and that is why they are only accessible to the subject who experiences them, since the same experience can be lived in the most varied ways from one individual to another and another…
Based on these experiences, the subject will elaborate their own and personal opinions linked to these that will be subjective.
