Understood as one of the simplest and most basic meals, present in gastronomies around the world regardless of the region in question, soup is one of the dishes o food important that the human being has created since the beginning of its history. Soup is essential as a food as it can provide a variety of nutrients, flavors and textures and can also be made and enjoyed both by the wealthiest sectors of society and by the least or the most humble. Obviously presenting differences in regard to the ingredients, the way of preparation, the way of consumption and other data, the soup is always present in the feeding of the human being. The soup is always salty.
We can describe to soup as a preparation made from a broth or a flavored liquid, heated and also served hot. This broth can be simply liquid or have other elements such as vegetables, noodles, rice, meat of various kinds and even fruits. Dairy products such as cheese, cream cheese, or milk can also be added. Needless to say, the more ingredients the soup has, the more complex its flavor will be and its nutritional contribution will also be much more complete.
Soup is perhaps one of the most important dishes of human nutrition since each town and each ethnicity You can make and prepare your own version of the soup with the ingredients and elements that are to your scope. Obviously, a soup from Southeast Asia will have nothing to do with a soup made in New York, but in both cases we can speak of the same type of product.
Depending on the region and the type of social class to which it belongs, the soup can fulfill a central role (that is, be the only or more important dish of the meal) as well as being a starter or appetizer to a more important dish and abundant.
