Definition of Study Plan

The concept of study plan has two possible aspects: 1) the theoretical design of an educational model structured and 2) the set of strategies a student must use to achieve success academic.
The curriculum as an educational model
In the academic field, a structured scheme of the different contents and periods of each area of knowledge has to be organized within an educational stage. Thus, a study plan is a strategy global that serves as a normative guide for its application by professionals of the education. Its purpose is evident: that students achieve a series of competencies in different areas.
Pedagogical elements and principles of the curricula
In general, these plans include basic, cognitive or artistic skills, among others. In this way, in the design of a study plan, the type of competence that corresponds to each area of knowledge (for example, a subject like biology promotes cognitive competence and a subject like the He drew develops or promotes an artistic competition).
Any study plan must be governed by a series of pedagogical principles. Some of the most significant would be the following
1) the student is the fundamental axis of the learning process,
2) for learning to be effective it must be planned,

5) emphasis must be placed on curricular standards and the competencies to be achieved,
6) educational materials adapted to the needs of the students must be used,
7) learning has to be permanently evaluated,
8) education has to favor the integration and the inclusion of all the students,
9) it is convenient to incorporate relevant topics from a social point of view,
10) a study plan must be designed in which the different actors in education (students, teachers and families) are considered and the role of each of them is delimited,
11) a weather of respect and coexistence Y
12) a tutorial action and advice must be incorporated so that students can achieve their objectives.

While there is no definitive guideline that guarantees academic success, education experts make a number of recommendations for students:
1) organize a personalized study schedule based on realistic expectations,
2) get adequate rest and maintain a good nutrition Y
3) the family You have to respect the child's study plan and support him in fulfilling it.
