Advantages and Disadvantages of Solar Energy
Miscellanea / / January 31, 2022
Is named solar energy harnessing electromagnetic radiation from the sun to generate electricity. It is the most modern method invented by human beings to take advantage of light and heat of the sun.
The use of solar energy can occur in two different ways: one active and one passive. The active form is the one that collects solar radiation and transforms it into electricity by technology; while the passive form is one that simply takes into account the path of the sun to orient the buildings and architecture, in order to reduce or increase exposure to the sun and thus compensate for the weaknesses of the local climate.
The first of these two methods is what we now refer to as solar energy, although its more correct name would be photovoltaic solar energy, that is, the obtained from the collection of the sun's radiation in semiconductors called photovoltaic cells (or solar panels, when they are arranged in series). This method of obtaining electric power Y caloric energy represents one of the contemporary hopes of supplanting the burning of
fossil fuels (highly polluting) for energies that are more compatible with the environment in the near future.Advantages of solar energy
