The anadiplosis is a Figure of speech which consists of beginning a verse or a phrase by repeating the same word(s) with which the verse ends verse or previous sentence. For example: From that sea emerged your tears, tears of melancholy.
Anadiplosis belongs to the group of rhetorical figures of construction. Repeated use of anadiplosis is called concatenation or conduplication, and when only the final part of the previous word is repeated, it is called an echo.
