The humanization it is the process of attributing human characteristics to animals or objects, or of treating a person taking into account their condition as a human being and their rights. For example: A doctor who treats his patients with empathy.
In different areas, such as work and the economy, humanization is related to ethics, because it aims to conceive the subjects recognizing their subjectivity, their interests and their needs, that is, everything that makes a person human.
In medicine and health sciences, this concept refers specifically to treating patients with dignity. patients, since professionals in this sector not only have to attend to people, but they also have to consider your values, your feelings and your concerns.

Examples of humanization
- A nurse empathizing with a patient by asking how she is feeling physically and emotionally with the new medication.
- A salesperson who listens carefully to the problems a customer has had with a product.
- A doctor who respects the religious beliefs of a patient.
- An insurance salesman explains to his client all the advantages and disadvantages of a contract, that is, that he does not perceive him as a buyer, but as a person.

Humanization as a figure of speech
Humanization, also called personification either prosopopoeia, is a Figure of speech in which an object or animal is described or referred to as if it were a person. For example: The owl greeted his friends from the forest.
This figure of speech is widely used in myths, in the fables and in fantastic or horror stories, because in this type of text it is usual for abilities and characteristics of the human being to be attributed to objects and animals.
