Childhood is a stage where fantasy and reality merge. Children are open to the world and the wonderful can be experienced in the simple motion of a colored balloon that approaches the clouds. The simplest can be impregnated with magic. Something like this happens with fantastic stories, stories before going to bed, fables with animals; In short, with the literature childish. Some scholars have considered children's literature as a minor genre, a kind of second division of letters. This label is a classic mistake among adults who have forgotten the pure energy of the child's world.
In our eagerness to order the world, we humans like to classify everything. Thus, literature incorporates almost infinite qualifications: mystery literature, love, adventure, science fiction; a useful list to order the bookstore shelves but, if we talk about children, the only important thing is to touch the fiber of their imagination through the mystery of words. If that miracle occurs, when the child becomes an adult, the stories and the stories will continue beating in some indestructible neuron. This is how it has happened and is happening since the world began. We are capable of going to other planets or inventing unprecedented machines. However, we have not yet invented an effective substitute for a good
history for children. There is an invisible aspect in children's literature: the writer tells a story and from that moment the story takes a new path, a true journey with an unknown destination. The mental schemes of the little ones have another logic, a different sense and the good stories are the vitamins necessary for any child. In fact, a childhood without stories would be like an amputated life, an irreparable ailment.
Children's literature is a game and it is important to know its basic rules. Rule number one: the words are sown and a set is created. Rule number two: the story grows inside and in some cases remains forever. Rule number three: the man who has complied with rule number one and number two will always walk with the soul of a child.
