Grains have been the most fundamental basis of human nutrition since prehistoric times.
From the moment in which the first human communities began to develop cultivation and were then able to become independent of what nature had to offer them, they were thus able to improve their quality of life. Grains or cereals are the main food for the human being since they are the ones that complete a diet that can be accompanied with vegetables, proteins, fruits, dairy products.
But the grains are not only consumed as such in special preparations. At the same time, an endless number of products can be obtained from them that are generated from their grinding. Thus, with the grains of corn, wheat and many other types of crops you can obtain bread, cookies, flour to make all kinds of doughs, noodles, etc. In this way, grains and their nutrients become an essential part of human nutrition.
Grains are also the center of livestock feeding and that is why their cultivation is highly demanded.
Due to the fact that the human being today consumes its food on a monumental scale, it is necessary to carry out the breeding process of livestock on a large area of land but it is also necessary to grow grains that serve as food for that cattle.
Grains are the basis for feeding cows, horses, oxen and other types of animals that serve as cattle, so that their cultivation is directly related to cattle raising and, subsequently, to food human.
The grains have been used by all the cultures of the planet in a historical way
Each region of the planet has facilitated the cultivation of a certain type of grain and its development. Thus, while the Europeans specialized in wheat, in America hundreds of different species of corn were known and in Asia rice was always considered a main type of food on which different dishes were built and preparations.
