Importance of the Principles
Miscellanea / / August 08, 2023
The principles are man-imposed standards that seek guide actions of own human being.
We can say that these principles are partly cultural, because although there are universal principles (do not lie, respect life, etc.) associated with the human condition, there are many others that will vary depending on the country and culture in which we find ourselves.
We can say that the principles help us to function on a day-to-day basis. Thus, thanks to them, we can act following certain patterns when faced with a dilemma. Likewise, thanks to these principles we can take important steps in our lives, for example in the labor field, since principles such as ethics at work can open many doors for us.
At the community level, the principles are rules of behavior that help and encourage coexistence between people. For this reason, it is very important that these principles are as similar as possible in a society. Several individuals with different principles can clash with each other and end up arguing, since it is evident that both have different ways of seeing life and their priorities.
Although it is true that the principles can affect the life of the human being in general (principles such as loving the neighbor or respect others), there are also principles in other areas of our life such as our job; and it is that many companies establish a series of principles before which the workers must respond.
It should be noted that principles and ethics are indisputably related. Ethics is responsible for studying aspects such as morality, and the truth is that the principles are part of the morality of the individual.
An individual without principles will be an empty individual, without norms or moral rules. Their behavior will not be governed by any type of ethical objective, thus being able to behave in a mean way.
Fostering the principles of our society is a really important task. We must instill these principles in the little ones from an early age. It is the only way to train individuals who are committed to our society. Individuals who will later accept and comply with this kind of moral norms that facilitate coexistence between people.
Thus, some basic and universal principles that we must always respect and instill in our little ones are respect for others, regardless of gender, culture or religion; the tolerance, either with people of other ethnic groups or with opinions different from ours; or sincerity and honesty, to ensure that relations with third parties are much healthier.

Although many aspects of a company can change over time, including its leadership and practices business, the guiding principles continue to give priority to the important values that the company embodies. Often, companies adopt several guiding principles to promote specific values.
Guiding principles are also important during the recruitment process and job evaluations. performance, since managers can compare the attitude and work experience of a professional. Today almost no one is practicing values anymore, because almost no one respects older people anymore.
