Starting in the fifties, television began to function on a daily basis and became a presence of singular importance in the cultural, political and economic life of Mexico.
Between 1928 and 1930 the first television experiments in Mexico were carried out by the engineers Francisco Javier Stavoli and Miguel Fonseca, both professors at the Higher School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ESIME) and the Technical Institute Industrial. Stavoli was also the technical manager of the XEFO station of the National Revolutionary Party (PNR). After a year of investigations around the world by the INBA Commission in 1948, the result of the commissioned investigation was handed over to President Miguel Alemán.
The first black and white television demonstration is made for educational purposes.
