The concept of nation is perhaps one of the most complex to define because the nation is an entity abstract and completely subjective that can vary in its elements according to who refers to it she. In general terms, the nation could be described as a combination of territory, customs and traditions, the history and language of a people. All these components are without a doubt of great importance when it comes to collaborating in the formation of the identity not only of an individual but of entire societies. Being part of a nation, feeling identified with the idea of a particular nation is undoubtedly relevant to the human being.
If we take into account the fact that the nation and nationality have been listed as one of the rights inalienable in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we can more easily understand the importance of the concept. One of the most significant elements that man has when establishing and shaping his identity is the feeling of belonging not just one geographical space
(in which one is normally born but which can also be considered one's own from long-term residence) if not also to a community, that is, to a group of similar individuals with whom they share endless of characteristics in common. All those mentioned above (language, history, traditions and customs, patriotic symbols) are all very present elements in the social life of any person: they allow them to live with others (for example, language) and establish their own social identity (for example, the story in common). By having an individual with the notion of belonging to a nation, his social being is affirmed and contributes a lot on the path to fulfillment as a community individual.
