A necessity in modern societies: the labor discussion in joint meetings.- In modern societies, claims work-related tend to be very present in relation to different aspects of the life of a worker and his reality. In this sense, the claim for wages and their payment is undoubtedly one of the most common, strong and logical since the recognition of the worker and his task becomes visible mainly in the salary he is paid and how he is assured through the time.
However, that the right salary is assured is not always possible and from there arises the importance of joint meetings, a space for debate in which an agreement must be reached between the workers and the employers, be they businessmen, small businessmen, individuals or the State itself.
Parities and their format: understanding how a claim works
We cannot speak of a single way of understanding parity since they vary greatly from country to country, in those in which this practice takes place. However, there are some elements that are common and that basically have to do with its main objective: to establish the agreement necessary salary between those who will pay it (employers or the State) and those who will receive it as an essential part of their rights (the workers).
The parities represent a space for debate in which realities as opposed as those of the employer and the worker are found. Many times they have the intervention of the State which, through the corresponding ministries and secretariats, must contribute to allow the agreement to be reached as soon as possible. It is very important to clarify that the results of labor parities depend largely on the position policy and ideological of government on duty, which can tip the balance in favor of the most vulnerable or not.
The joint ventures demonstrate a central relevance in the quality of life of a society
While in some countries there is no place for workers' labor claims to be heard, those who carry out the the practice of parity meetings are those who understand the importance of sitting at the discussion table opposing subjects and socially faced. Parities are essential so that vulnerable sectors do not remain defenseless and can be present in the claim in the form of unions or unions that represent them.
Depending on the responses of the employers to the claim, parity may be extended in time due to lack of agree, which always represents a problem not only for the workers in question but for the entire company. society that can face stoppages, temporary claims, cessation of activities, setback in economic dynamics, etc.
