Debit Note Example

The debit note is a document in which a company acknowledges to a customer having invoiced and collected a certain sum of money; generally, the debit note is used to report an extra and erroneous charge. It belongs to the credit documents, it is issued by the banks, and it is generally due to failures or errors in the documents issued by the bank, such as:

• Amount errors,
• Billing
• Bonus
• Discount. Etc.

The debit note is equivalent to the amount of money that was the reason for the failure and that the customer may exchange for products, services or cash at the establishment that issued said note.
