What are wind instruments?

They are musical instruments that form part of from the category of wind sounds with a compositional structure, in where musical aspects such as harmony, rhythm and sequence interveneto; to generate music.

The resource par excellence that is used to produce sound is that the human being himself through the mouth to produce the sound that is required and thus generate music.

Within the composition of music, which can be manifested in various musical genres, it can be presented as background or foreground music depending on the indication in the scores, which can be articulated by a single person-instrument or by a specific group as accompaniment musical.

How is the sound / music produced?

This is produced by means of the wind instrument through a specific mechanism that consists of taking advantage of a column that has its own instrument, through which the air will pass that will generate a sound with vibrations and has an outlet that is modulated by mechanisms such as holes and buttons to create melodies.

The ability to add various types of sounds to an instrument over the years went away discovering and optimizing, both the physical shapes and the number of holes with which it could tell.

That is, as certain holes were added (or vice versa), new musical scales were found. Once this was achieved, man has insisted on discovering and perfecting new forms of sounds to give the harmonies an aesthetic value.
