Environmental Characteristics

The environment is understood as the natural system formed by natural elements and some of the environmental characteristics What stand out are living beings, climate, geology, etc., all of extreme importance to understand the environment.

Environmental characteristics:

1.- Definition.- The environment is the set of biological, physical and natural phenomena that form the process and existence of life and its cycle.

2.- Ecology.- This is the discipline that studies the environment and the action of man on it.

3.- Climate.- Climate is understood as natural phenomena, such as rain, heat, waves, wind and even the effects produced by the moon.

It is here where the mixture of these parameters is studied, trying to predict the effects on the climate, but also studying the effects of human action on climatic phenomena.

Living organisms.- These are a fundamental part of the environment, as they form direct action in the alterations or maintenance of environmental processes.

In this field are all living entities, animate or inanimate, such as:

• Bacteria
• Virus
• Mammals and vertebrates
• Amphibians
• Marine (fish, crustaceans etc.)
• Birds
• Plants
• Mushrooms etc.

Geography.- LTo geography or geology, it is in charge of terrestrial movements, their phenomena, since phenomena such as eruptions, tremors and tsunamis have great changes in the environment.

Deforestation.- This affects widely, both by natural causes (fires, pests, droughts, etc.).

Afforestation.- This phenomenon consists of the excess of a certain type of plants or overpopulation, which at a certain moment produce great damage to the ecosystem, such as drowning other plants, destruction of ecosystems and the death of some species.

Contamination.- Pollution is an artificial element produced consciously or perhaps unconsciously by human beings, although it can also be produced by natural phenomena such as volcanic eruptions and exhalation of gases chemicals.
