They are called social organisms to any organization that has processes with structure and hierarchies. These organisms must have different areas that will carry out different processes to obtain a common or specific objective.
To configure a social organism, it is necessary that more than two individuals agree in an organized and systematized way to obtain a common goal, whatever its meaning.
This has left different institutions and associations as a category of social organism, such as:
- Churches
- Governments
- Companies
- Institutions
- Schools
- Colleges
- Civil Associations etc.
This type of organization makes their formation as organized institutions have as a principle the so-called “organizational cultureWhich is a term used in administration when the organization is established as the essential base of a company or organization regardless of its purpose.

Thus, within the social organism, there are functions that in administration are divided into six:
- Technical functions
- Business functions
- Financial functions
- Security features
- Accounting functions
- Administrative functions
Example of social organizations:
Business.- A company is made up of a social organism, where the shareholders (in the case of the corporations), distribute the work in different departments, which fulfill the function correspondent.
Technical department.- This is in charge of all technical tasks, such as devices, installations, connections, repairs, maintenance, etc. Specialized engineers are hired in this department for each required field.
Here the zone heads are established, who are in charge of the technical department and their respective sub-departments
commercial department.- This is in charge of marketing and advertising, having precisely two departments with people with experience in these fields:
- - Here people are in charge of placing the products on the market, setting prices and investigating which merchandise is preferred or the improvements that should be made.
- - This department focuses on making products public, designs advertising campaigns and chooses the most appropriate means of communication for each product, carrying out visual campaigns through posters, visual and auditory commercials and the manufacture of wrappings, boxes or packaging.
Finance department.- This is in charge of finances, makes payments, collections and has the relationship of the total and partial capital of the company.
Manage the books of expenses, entries, exits, investments, loans, etc. In addition to handling the accounting of the shareholders in particular and of the respective actions, defining the final distributions.
Security Department.- This is in charge of safety in general, in the case of factories it is in charge of personnel safety, regulatory safety, such as helmets, uniform boots, masks, etc.
Another aspect of this department is that security also includes security against theft, surveillance of personnel, video surveillance etc.
accounting department.- This is in charge of paying taxes, distribution of salaries, fiscal actions, payment of insurance, etc.
Administrative department.- This has to carry out the procedures before the government, internal departments of the companies, manages the legal department as a subordinate, etc.
This department is the one in charge of managing assets, merchandise, profits and even losses for the company to function.
